What is Hyrox? The Definition
Hyrox = 8 km of running + 8 functional exercise stations. Each Hyrox race follows the same format: 1 km run, 1 station, 1 km run, 1 station, etc. The 8 Hyrox stations are: ski erg (1000m), sled push (50m), sled pull (50m), burpee broad jump (80m), rowing (1000m), farmer carry (200m), sandbag lunges (100m), wall balls (100 reps).
Hyrox Race — The Formats
Hyrox offers 3 formats: Hyrox Open (solo, for everyone), Hyrox Pro (elite category, more demanding standards), Hyrox Doubles (in pairs — Mixed Doubles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles). Every Hyrox finisher receives a medal and joins the global hybrid athlete community.
